…Design should never say, “Look at me.” It should always say, “Look at this.” — David Craib
We design for print and for digital applications. We also have trade accounts with several national print houses which enable us to offer exceptional rates on design/print combo services where we handle the printing for you and have a finished product delivered directly to your door. Some of the print pieces we produce are greeting cards, postcards, business cards, mail13171317ers, brochures, trading cards, posters, vinyl banners, t-shirts and magazines.
…Good design is clear thinking made visual. — Edward Tufte
In addition to our print design work we are masters of WordPress. For those unfamiliar with WordPress, it is the web’s most popular Content Management System that was originally created as a blogging platform but has now become for website management what Google is for internet searching (see here). We can build your site with existing templates (inexpensive), modify existing templates to perfectly suite your needs (also inexpensive) or create entirely custom templates with custom shortcodes, custom built plugins etc. Whatever you can imagine, we can build it using our combination of HTML, CSS and PHP skills. If your on a tight budget we can build stable websites displaying a clients unique brand in often less than two days, enabling us to offer what most web designers would consider stupid pricing.
…Practice safe design: Use a concept. — Petrula Vrontikis
I’ve been a photographer for nearly 20 years and have had my work in several, books, magazines, kiosks, display panels and websites. It was through photography that I learned digital image manipulation and Adobe Photoshop. That eventually led me to studying typography, color theory, marketing, branding and print technology. I am mostly interested in commercial design, especially print design of the late modern era. My favorite visual artist is Alphonse Mucha. I have been designing with the Adobe suite for 8 years, before that my first attempts at digital design where over 20 years ago with CorelDRAW and various other programs. Early in my art career I was an avid illustrator (a talent I no longer develop) creating thousands of pieces with various media, mostly pencil but also pen and ink, paint and others. In March of 1993 I won the Crescenta Valley High School Distinguished Student Award for excellence in Art achievement, I also won a tri-high-school art competition with a pen and ink wash.
